What is the Construction Training School (CTS)?

A joint collaborative between the unions and contractors to ensure:

More qualified workers

A safer work environment

More productive work environment

The CTS has modern, state-of-the-art equipment and facilities providing

Hands-on-training

Structured classroom education from knowledgeable, experienced instructors.

A board with equal representation from management and labor oversees the curriculum for the CTS.

This design allows for input and alterations as the industry evolves.

What Does it Cost?

The Construction Training Advancement Fund (CTAF) was created to fund the school as part of a collective bargaining agreement.

The contractor contributes money on behalf of the union worker for every hour worked.
